Autumn Meeting 2026 : ‘The hindlimb – a magical mystery tour ‘

Join us in Liverpool for a full weekend of fabulous CPD, a great trade show and fun social activities!

We’re lucky to have a distinguished roster of speakers this year with Phil Witte, Harry Scott, Bianca Hettlich, Sebastian Behr and Mark Morton joining us.

Topics range from lumbrosacral disease to cruciate rotational instability, to calcaneal ligament injury and other tarsal injuries. We will also have abstract presentations all weekend and a chance for one presenter to win the Lesley Vaughan prize. As in previous years we will also be welcoming case presentations by delegates too – these can be on any interesting orthopaedic case. We’re delighted to be joined by Mike McNicholas, our human speaker, as well as a presentation by a British Airways duo on dealing with stress.

Social events include a night at the Museum of Liverpool and our Gala dinner on the Friday night. Early birds can join in the conference run 🙂 And we’ll have a large trade show with all our wonderful sponsors showing off their new kit.

As with previous autumn meetings we’re looking for delegates to submit interesting cases throughout the weekend. These presentations have been very interesting and entertaining – anyone is welcome to submit a case of any orthopaedic nature. You can present it yourself or get a committee member to do it for you anonymously. See more info on how to submit your case here.
