- Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging
ABOUT EDEN VETS
Eden Veterinary Referrals opened in October 2020 and is an independent, purpose-built practice based in the Northwest of England. We offer a multi-disciplinary, certificate-led referral service in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics and diagnostic imaging, as well as an OOH emergency service.
OUR ETHOS
Our ethos is to deliver excellence within an environment entirely focused on providing passionate patient-led care and client experience. Applicants must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and share the drive to deliver an affordable and accessible service. This is ideally a full-time role, though applications are also welcomed from part-time candidates.
FACILITIES
Our practice facilities include dedicated separate, large, well-designed theatres and diagnostic suites, equipped with high quality Ultrasonography, 16 slice Siemens Somatom CT, visiting MRI and digital radiography. An Arthrex Arthroscopy unit, extensive Arthrex, Kyon and VI equipment are additional amenities.
THE ROLE
You will be joining our current surgeons; Georgina Timms (who established the MSK US service at EVR), Edward Allsop and Virginia Jones. We are pleased to boast an impressively ever-growing lameness clinic and are proud to look beyond the usual orthopaedic conditions, diagnosing soft tissue injuries and providing many regenerative medicine treatment options, including stem cell and PRP therapy. Many of our patients are from high-level performance, sporting and protection backgrounds and we work very closely with veterinary physiotherapists to optimise long-term patient care-plans. Training on how to perform diagnostic MSK US will be provided and enthusiasm to learn this skill is essential. This role may also entail orthopaedic surgery, should the candidate so desire. The caseload will provide an interesting variety of conditions in an environment where clinical freedom and development of skills are encouraged.
OPPORTUNITIES
Eden Veterinary Referrals provides clinical freedom and opportunity for career development in a close-knit team environment. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, a ‘no-budget’ CPD allowance, 7 weeks’ holiday, payment of professional registration fees, professional indemnity cover, health care plan and discount purchasing scheme
